A man in a suit walks toward a bright city skyline on a wooden pier over water at sunset. Shadows and warm colors create a hopeful mood.
Choose the blessed lifestyle by trusting in God rather than depending on your own strength.

Today, let's explore the transformative power of spiritual vision and how what we see in our hearts becomes reality in our lives. Align our inner sight with God's promises and watching Him work miracles even in impossible circumstances.

Jacob's Journey from Cursed to Blessed

Jacob's story beautifully illustrates this transformation. Initially living in the cursed man's lifestyle, thinking he had to accomplish everything through his own efforts, Jacob's encounter with God changed everything. He learned to walk in the blessed man's lifestyle.

Even when his father-in-law Laban cheated him repeatedly, changing his wages as often as possible, Jacob didn't react in flesh but continued putting his trust in God. In Genesis 31, Jacob testified:

"Your father has deceived me and changed my wages ten times, but God did not allow him to hurt me." - Genesis 31:7

Jacob understood that while people might cheat and deceive, God was his protector and provider. When Laban said the speckled animals would be Jacob's wages, the entire flock gave birth to speckled offspring. When he changed it to striped, they all bore striped young.

"Thus God has taken away the livestock of your father and given them to me." - Genesis 31:9

God Sees Everything

In a dream, the angel of God revealed something profound to Jacob:

"I have seen all that Laban is doing to you." - Genesis 31:12

When you're in a vulnerable position, feeling like you have no voice, no one to support you, remember this truth: God sees everything. He sees how people treat you, and He sees your heart's response. You don't need to fight your own battles when you trust in the God who sees.

God is the God who sees.

Even when you feel rejected, without connections or recommendations, God witnesses every injustice and every act of faithfulness. He specializes in lifting the vulnerable from mighty circumstances and placing them in positions of honor.

The Power of Spiritual Vision

Jacob's story takes a miraculous turn in Genesis 30. Despite Laban's deception in removing all the speckled and spotted animals, Jacob received divine instruction. He cut branches from poplar, almond, and plane trees, peeling back the bark to expose the white inner wood. He placed these striped branches in the water troughs where the animals would see them when they came to drink.

"When the flocks were in heat and came to drink, they mated in front of the branches. And they bore young that were striped, speckled, and spotted." - Genesis 30:38-39

This miracle teaches us a powerful truth: what you see, you will manifest. As the animals lowered their heads to drink and saw the striped branches, they gave birth to striped offspring. What they gazed upon became their reality.

What You See, You Receive

If you see joy, you will manifest joy. If you see God as your strength, you will experience that strength. If you see yourself walking, running, and rejoicing in God even in weakness, you will see that strength manifest in your life.

What you gaze upon is what you will give birth to.

This isn't about denying reality but about seeing with spiritual eyes. Even in hard circumstances, when there seems to be no possibility of breakthrough, what you consistently see in your spirit will come to pass.

See yourself as financially prosperous. See your family worshiping God together. See your ministry advancing to the next level. See your health flourishing. See yourself filled with long life and strength. See the manifestation of God's promises in your life.

Divine Methods for Miracles

God always uses unique methods to perform miracles. Naaman had to dip seven times in the Jordan River. The Red Sea parted. The sun stood still. Jesus came through a virgin birth. These multicolored offspring were another divine miracle.

All these miracles teach us that with focused spiritual vision, you can manifest the object of your dreams. You can conceive God's promises. What you imagine aligned with His word is what you give birth to.

Conclusion

You don't need to fight your battles through human strength. Instead of reacting based on what you see in the natural, react based on the spirit and God's promises. Look upon yourself as a giver, a blessing to others, a person of love who helps the vulnerable. See yourself as prosperous, giving, and blessing many people. Look upon yourself as already healed, already victorious in Christ.

When you align your vision with God's promises, miracles happen. The same God who blessed Jacob despite impossible circumstances will bring your dreams to pass.

Reflect on This

  1. What promises of God do you need to see more clearly in your spiritual vision?

  2. How can you shift from reacting based on circumstances to responding based on God's promises?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your promises and the power of spiritual vision. I choose to see myself as You see me - blessed, prosperous, and victorious. Even when circumstances seem impossible, I trust that what I see in alignment with Your word will manifest in my life. I don't react based on how others treat me, but I respond based on Your spirit and Your promises. Let me conceive Your word and see the miraculous birth of Your promises in every area of my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
