God, who thunders wondrously, promises to perform great works in your life this year that go far beyond human understanding.

Greetings, friends and family. As we step into this new year, let's embrace a powerful truth: God is about to do things in your life that will surpass your wildest expectations. Today, we are going to explore what it means to live in anticipation of God's incomprehensible wonders and how to position ourselves to receive them.

A Promise for the Year

God has given us a remarkable verse to anchor our faith for this season. It comes from the book of Job:

"God thunders wondrously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend." - Job 37:5

This isn't just a beautiful poetic expression. It is a declaration of God's nature and His intentions for your life. The word "comprehend" here is significant. It means that what God is planning for you is so magnificent, so beyond your current understanding, that your mind cannot fully grasp it until it unfolds before your eyes.

Let this year be marked by the incomprehensible. God wants to do mighty things, great things, awesome things, and marvellous things in your life, in your family, in your business, and in your work. He desires to take you from strength to strength, from glory to glory. You have never experienced a year like this one.

God is going to bless you exceedingly and abundantly beyond what you can comprehend or imagine.

God Makes New Ways

When we say God does things we cannot comprehend, we are acknowledging that His ways are higher than our ways. He is not limited by our circumstances, our past failures, or our current limitations. God is going to make a new way where there seems to be no way. He is going to open new opportunities that were not visible yesterday. He is going to lift you to heights you never imagined possible.

This is the time to meditate on this promise. Do not just read it and move on. Let it sink deep into your spirit. Speak it over your life daily. Declare it over your family. Proclaim it over your work and business. As you do, you position yourself to see the glory of God manifested in tangible, powerful ways.

The God of Biblical Wonders

Throughout Scripture, we witness God doing the incomprehensible. In Genesis, we see Him creating the entire universe, the world, and everything in it by the power of His Word. He spoke, and galaxies came into existence. He breathed, and humanity came to life. The Bible is not just a book of nice stories; it is a book of wonders and miracles.

Consider the testimonies woven throughout Scripture. God lifted an orphan girl named Esther and made her a queen who saved an entire nation. He took David, a shepherd boy tending his father's sheep, and elevated him to become the king of Israel.

Think about Isaac. The Bible tells us that he sowed in the land during a famine. Logically, that makes no sense. You do not plant when the ground is dry and resources are scarce. But Isaac moved in faith, not by sight.

"Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him." - Genesis 26:12

When you harvest in famine, just as Isaac received a hundredfold blessing, you see the hand of God moving against the natural order. He turned scarcity into abundance. He turned a time of lack into a time of overflow. This is the God we serve. He is the God of wonders. He is the God of miracles. And here is the beautiful truth: He has not changed. The same God who performed mighty acts throughout the Bible is the same God who is with you today.

Your Year of Golden Things

When you walk with God, you position yourself for His full blessing. God does not show favouritism, but He does respond to faith. He responds to those who believe His promises and dare to expect the extraordinary. Even if you feel like you are in a famine right now whether it is a famine of finances, health, or joy, God can bring a hundredfold harvest in the midst of it.

This is your year of golden things. This is the year you are going to see the great things God has planned, things you never imagined, things you cannot fully comprehend right now. But God is doing it. Why? Because this is the year of God's amazing wonders in your life.

Do not settle for mediocrity. Do not accept the status quo. Do not let past disappointments define your future expectations. Instead, lift your eyes. Expand your vision. Dare to believe that God is about to do something so remarkable in your life that when people see it, they will know it could only be God. He is the God who can turn your table upside down, transforming your situation in an instant.

Conclusion

As you journey through this year, carry this promise in your heart: God thunders wondrously with His voice, and He does great things you cannot comprehend. Let faith rise within you. Let expectation fill your mind. Let hope to anchor your heart. God is about to exceed your expectations, surpass your understanding, and demonstrate His power in ways that will leave you in awe. Rejoice, for this is your year of incomprehensible blessings.

Reflect on This

  1. What "famine" situation in your life are you facing right now where you need to sow in faith like Isaac to see a hundredfold return?

  2. How can you actively meditate on God's promises daily to position yourself for His wonders, rather than focusing on your current limitations?

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I thank You that this is my year of incomprehensible blessings. I declare that You are doing great things in my life that I cannot fully comprehend. Just as You blessed Isaac with a hundredfold harvest during a famine, I believe you are bringing abundance into my life regardless of the circumstances. You are opening new doors, creating new opportunities, and lifting me to new heights. I receive Your exceedingly abundant blessings over my life, my family, my work, and my business. You are taking me from strength to strength and from glory to glory. I am walking in Your wonders and miracles. This is my year of golden things, and I embrace every blessing You have prepared for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
