We are called to dream big, aligning our dreams with God's vision.

Discover how God uses dreams to communicate His promises and guide us toward His abundant blessings. Just as He revealed His plans to Abraham, we too can access divine vision and partner with God in fulfilling His purposes for our lives. This meditation explores the significance of imagination with God's vision, empowering us to step into the extraordinary future He has prepared.

Dreaming with God's Vision

"Every time when God encounters a person, it gives them the dream, it gives them a solution, and it comes like a picture."

God communicates His promises through vivid imagery, planting seeds of hope and vision within our hearts. Just as Jacob saw the dust of the earth and the vast expanse of land, we are called to visualize God's promises for our lives.

Two invaluable resources are freely available to every individual, regardless of their circumstances. The first, a gift granted equally to all, is the 24 hours of each day. The second, equally accessible, is the power of dreams. Whether rich or poor, every person possesses the capacity to dream and envision a future filled with possibilities.

These resources, when combined with faith and God's Word, become powerful tools for manifesting God's promises in our lives.

Inheriting the World Through Faith

Romans 4:13 (NIV): It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.
Romans 4:23-24 (NIV): The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.

The promises given to Abraham are also for us, not through adherence to the law, but through faith in Jesus Christ. We are called to inherit the world, not in a worldly sense of domination, but as stewards of God's creation, bringing His light and salt into every sphere of influence.

We often hear messages discouraging Christian involvement in certain spheres of influence, such as politics, education, entertainment, the arts, religion, sports, and media. The world often tells us these areas are "not for Christians." However, we are called to inherit the world, to bring God's influence into every area of society. If we, as believers, don't step up to lead and shape these fields, then who will? Those who don't share our values and beliefs will undoubtedly fill the void, potentially steering the world away from God's intended purpose.

We must think bigger and train ourselves for leadership. We are called to be a blessing to the world, acting as ambassadors of Christ. Jesus Himself commissioned us to preach the Gospel and be His witnesses to the ends of the earth. He promised the Holy Spirit to empower us in this mission. We are called to be the light of the world, the salt of the earth. Where there is darkness, we bring light. Where there is decay, we bring preservation.

Just as members of a royal family carry themselves with a certain dignity and awareness of their position, so too should we. We are children of God, belonging to a royal priesthood. We must not behave like the world, but instead live as heirs to the Kingdom of God, reflecting His glory in all that we do. We must recognize our true identity and walk in the authority and responsibility that comes with being God's chosen people.

Our Identity in Christ: A Royal Priesthood

1 Peter 2:9 (NIV): But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

We are reminded of our identity as God's chosen people, a royal priesthood set apart for His purposes. This identity empowers us to live differently, reflecting God's light in a dark world.

"When light penetrates the darkness, the darkness must inevitably recede in the name of Jesus."

As children of God, we carry His light within us, dispelling darkness and bringing hope wherever we go.

Dreaming Big: A Call to Action

"When God puts a dream, you need to imagine, you need to dream big, you need to see how are you going to bless everyone."

We are challenged to dream big, aligning our dreams with God's promises and envisioning how we can be a blessing to others.

Conclusion

As you reflect on God's promises, remember that you are a chosen vessel, equipped to inherit His blessings and impact the world for His glory. Dream big, and step into the abundant life God has prepared for you.

Reflect on This

  • How can you actively visualize God's promises for your life, incorporating them into your daily thoughts and prayers?

  • In what specific ways can you be a blessing to others, sharing God's love and light in your sphere of influence?

Prayer

Father God, I thank you for your incredible promises and for choosing me to be part of your royal priesthood. I declare that I am walking in your blessings, inheriting your promises, and impacting the world for your glory. I believe that your dreams for my life are bigger and better than anything I could imagine, and I trust you to fulfill them in your perfect timing. In Jesus' name, Amen.
