Person stands on a rock, arms raised, overlooking a vast landscape at sunrise. Vibrant orange sky with clouds and distant mountains. Serene mood.
Belief always precedes sight: you do not wait to see the glory of God before you believe, you believe first and then you see.

There are moments in life when everything looks finished. The reports are in. The evidence is stacked. The situation has been buried, and everyone around you has already moved on. But today's meditation is for anyone who needs to hear this: God is not finished. When His glory shows up, dead things come back to life, mountains move, and the wilderness transforms into a land of abundance. This is your moment to believe again.

The Woman Who Stopped Weeping

Before we get to Lazarus, consider this: the days of weeping are not permanent. Jesus encountered a woman bent double for 18 years, a woman who had not stood straight in nearly two decades. And when He saw her, He did not offer sympathy. He offered liberation.

In the same way, whatever has kept you bent down, whatever has had you weeping and mourning, God is declaring over you today: this season is shifting. It is no longer a season of weeping. It is a season of harvest.

Stop weeping and sit in the presence of God. When His glory comes in, you will see life where there was only death.

If You Believe, You Will See

In John 11, Lazarus had been dead for four days. He had been buried. The stone had been rolled into place. The mourners had gathered. By every human measure, the story was over. And yet, Jesus looked at Martha and asked her a question that cuts straight to the heart:

"Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?"— John 11:40

Belief first. Glory second. That is the divine sequence. You do not wait to see the glory before you believe. You choose to believe, and then the glory follows. There is no conflict in this. It is a straight line: believe, and you will see.

People around Jesus tried to discourage Him. They said it would smell. They pointed to the evidence. They had already accepted the outcome. But Jesus was not moved by the evidence. He was moved by the glory of God that was about to break through.

Whatever the enemy intended for harm, God is turning it for good. He did it for Joseph. He will do it for you.

Marvels Never Seen Before

God made a covenant with His people that still stands today, and it is one of the most breathtaking promises in all of Scripture:

"Behold, I am making a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been created in all the earth or in any nation."— Exodus 34:10

Not ordinary blessings. Not standard breakthroughs. Marvels. Things that have never been created anywhere on earth. Things so unique, so unprecedented, that the people around you will stop and say, "How is this even possible? I have never seen anything like this before."

And here is the part that should make you stand up straight: God will do these marvels in front of the same people who watched you struggle. The same place where your head was bowed down is the same place God will lift you up. The same people who said they did not need you will be the ones witnessing the work of the Lord in your life.

"All the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord."— Exodus 34:10

Not by Might, But by His Spirit

When the glory of God manifests, it does not come through your own strength or strategy. It comes by His Spirit.

"Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts."— Zechariah 4:6

This means the mountain you are facing does not require your best effort to move. It requires your declaration. You carry the glory of God. You carry the anointing. And when you open your mouth and declare that the mountain must go, it has no choice but to respond.

The enemy has been coding your mind with lies, with fear, with false evidence. But fear is simply False Evidence Appearing Real. And if it does not align with the Word of God, it is a lie, regardless of what the doctor's report says, regardless of what the bank statement shows. The truth of God's Word overrides every fact that contradicts it.

A New Season of Shalom

This is not just a season of breakthrough. It is a season of shalom, the complete peace that covers body, mind, and soul. Everything you have lost, whether it is time, relationships, finances, or health, it is coming back. The shift is happening. The wilderness is becoming a green valley. The land of lack is becoming a land of milk and honey.

"And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus." - Ephesians 2:6

You are not seated with your sickness. You are not seated with your lack. You are seated with Christ, far above every principality and power. Your cup is not empty. Your cup is overflowing.

John 21:25 reminds us that the things Jesus did were so numerous that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written about them. The miracles are not finished. The signs and wonders are not a thing of the past. The days of glory are coming, and they are coming for you.

Conclusion

Today, choose to believe before you see. Choose to declare before the evidence changes. The glory of God is breaking through every dead situation, every buried dream, and every mountain that stands in your way. This is your season of divine exchange. Receive the new anointing, step into the new season, and watch as God does marvels in your life that have never been seen before on this earth.

Reflect on This

  1. Like the people around Lazarus who pointed to the evidence and said it was too late, are there areas in your life where you have accepted a finished story that God has not finished writing?

  2. What specific mountain or dead situation do you need to boldly declare the glory of God over today?

Prayer

Father, I thank You that You are the God who calls things that do not exist into being. I believe, and I declare that I will see Your glory. Every dead situation in my life must come back to life. Every mountain must be removed. I cancel every lie of the enemy and every false report that does not align with Your Word. I receive the shalom peace that surpasses all understanding. My cup overflows. This is my season of harvest, and I step into it boldly in Jesus' name. Amen.
