Today, let's embrace a powerful truth that can transform your life: the war between God and humanity has ended. Many of us are still fighting battles that have already been won, carrying burdens that have already been lifted. It's time to step into the freedom and peace that Jesus secured for you on the cross.
Fighting a Finished Battle
During the height of World War II, the Japanese army was fiercely engaged in combat in the Philippines. Among the soldiers was a dedicated warrior named Hiroo Onoda, who fought with intense commitment and passion. In August 1945, the war came to an end, and news of the peace treaty spread throughout the region.
However, when this news reached Hiroo Onoda, he refused to believe it. Even when leaflets were dropped from airplanes announcing that the war had truly ended, he dismissed them as enemy propaganda. For an astonishing 29 years, he continued his guerrilla warfare in the Philippine jungles, convinced that the battle was still raging. It wasn't until his former commanding officer traveled from Japan to personally tell him that the war was over that he finally laid down his weapons and returned home.
How often do we live like Hiroo Onoda? We continue fighting battles that have already been won, struggling against an enemy that has already been defeated.
The Ancient Conflict Resolved
There was indeed a time when enmity existed between God and humanity. There was a great divide, a chasm that separated us from our Creator. This is an undeniable truth. But here's the life-changing reality: that divide no longer exists. The war is over.
"Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God. Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, That her warfare is ended, That her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from the LORD’s hand Double for all her sins." - Isaiah 40:1-2
Your war with God has ended. The battle is finished. The debt has been paid in full, and you have received double blessing for all your struggles.
No More Living Under Curse
Because the war is over, you no longer need to live under curse. You don't have to accept sickness as your permanent condition. You don't have to resign yourself to a life of lack and limitation. You have been transformed into a child of God, and everything has changed.
"The war between God and humanity has ended. You are now a child of God."
How did this war end? God's only begotten Son, Jesus, was crucified on the cross for you. He was broken, wounded, and bruised so that you could be made whole.
"By His wounds we are healed."
You don't need to remain trapped in your problems. You don't need to spend 29 years like that Japanese soldier, fighting a war that's already over, believing the battle still rages when peace has already been declared.
The Power of Jesus' Name
The moment you accept the name of Jesus, the moment you believe in Him, everything changes. That name carries the power to transform your entire existence.
The name of Jesus will turn your curse into blessing. The name of Jesus will heal your diseases. The name of Jesus will solve your problems. The name of Jesus will bring peace to your family and to your children. Trust in that name, believe in that name, and watch your life be transformed.
