A large wooden ark on turbulent seas with lightning striking in the stormy sky, creating a dramatic and tense atmosphere.
Just as those in Noah's ark were kept safe while destruction surrounded them, those who are in Christ are divinely protected from every form of evil.

There is something remarkable waiting for you on the other side of truly understanding what happened at the Cross. Not just knowing it as a historical fact, but letting it settle deep in your heart until it changes how you see your life, your circumstances, and your future. That is exactly where this message begins.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not just good news. It is divine power. Your source of divine power is not found in a method, a ritual, or a program. It is found in the Gospel itself. In knowing what Christ did for you, what He accomplished, and what He has placed inside your reach. When you truly hear that Christ died for you, something stirs on the inside. A surge of life rises up. That is divine power making itself known.

The Cross Is Not Foolishness. It Is Medicine.

To the world, the message of the Cross sounds absurd. How could God become a man? How could a man die and rise again? To those who are perishing, it seems like foolishness. But 1 Corinthians 1:18 has a word for you:

"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." 1 Corinthians 1:18

What looks like nonsense to them is your medicine. What they dismiss is the very thing that brings healing, strength, restoration, and life to you. When someone at your workplace scoffs at the idea that God became man, suffered, and rose again, you can smile, because what they reject is the very thing keeping you alive and whole.

One Thing Ended. Another Thing Began.

When Jesus hung on the Cross, He cried out three words that shook the universe: "It is finished." John 19:30 tells us:

"When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost." John 19:30

At Calvary, two things happened simultaneously. Something ended, and something began. What ended at the Cross? Your curse ended. Your sickness ended. Your poverty ended. Your sin ended. The dominion of darkness over your life ended. The enemy cannot finish you because everything that was designed to finish you was itself finished at Calvary.

The enemy cannot finish you. The very things meant to destroy you were destroyed at the Cross.

And what began? A new life. A new creation. A new identity in Christ.

Protected Inside the Ark

In the time of Noah, many things perished in the flood. Everything that was corrupt, everything that could not serve God's purposes, everything that was spiritually diseased, it all sank. But those inside the ark were kept safe.

Noah and those with him in the ark were preserved. Christ is your ark. When you are in Christ, you are inside a place of divine protection. Genesis 7:23 says:

"And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark." Genesis 7:23

You and your family, because you are in Christ, will be kept safe. Whatever chaos swirls in the world around you, you are covered.

The Blood That Causes Evil to Pass Over

Exodus 12:13 brings another layer of this extraordinary protection:

"And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt." Exodus 12:13

When the blood of Jesus marks your life, destruction cannot enter. Disease passes over. Curses pass over. Poverty passes over. The blood is not just a symbol. It is an active, living shield. You are not an ordinary person. You are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, not with silver or gold, but with the precious, sinless blood of the Lamb.

That same blood acts like a spiritual magnet. It repels everything that does not belong in your life and draws toward you every blessing, every grace, and every good thing that God has ordained for you.

Four Hundred Years, Then One Night

The children of Israel were in bondage for four hundred years. Four hundred years without wages. Four hundred years under Pharaoh's grip. And then, one night, everything changed. Exodus 12:35-36 records what happened:

"And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians." Exodus 12:35-36

In one night, four hundred years of unpaid wages were collected. This is a month of favour. What has been withheld from you for a long time is coming toward you because the blood of Christ drives away the enemy and draws in the blessings of God. Psalm 105:37 confirms it:

"He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes." Psalm 105:37

Not one weak person among them. Not one sick person. Not one lagging behind. When the power of the blood moves, weakness is removed and strength takes its place in every member of your household.

Conclusion

The Cross is not a historical relic. It is a living reality that is working for you right now. At Calvary, two things happened: your enemy was defeated, and you were set free. The curse ended. The blessing began. You are in Christ, covered by His blood, preserved like those in the ark, and exempted from destruction like those in Israel. This is not a future promise you are waiting for. This is your present reality.

Reflect on This

  1. When you face sickness, financial pressure, or spiritual opposition, do you first turn to your circumstances for answers, or do you return to the truth of what the Cross has already accomplished for you?

  2. In what area of your life do you need to declare "It is finished" over a situation that has been wearing you down, trusting that Christ's work at Calvary is sufficient and complete?

Prayer

Father, I thank You that the Cross was not the end but a new beginning. I declare that my curse is finished, my sickness is finished, my poverty is finished, and the enemy's authority over my life is finished. The blood of Jesus Christ covers me and my family. Every destructive thing passes over us because we are marked by that blood. Every blessing You have prepared for us is drawn toward us now. I am in Christ, I am protected, I am provided for, and I am free. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Key Takeaways

  • The Gospel of Christ is not merely a message but divine power that brings salvation, healing, strength, and restoration to everyone who believes.

  • At the Cross, two things happened simultaneously: what was working against you was ended, and a new life in Christ was begun.

  • The blood of Jesus acts as both a repellent against every curse, sickness, and poverty, and a magnet that draws God's blessings toward you.

  • Just as those in Noah's ark were kept safe while destruction surrounded them, those who are in Christ are divinely protected from every form of evil.

  • What has been withheld for a long time can be reversed in a single season when God's favour is activated through the blood of Christ.
