Jesus
Jesus operated in power because He knew the Father loved Him and showed Him everything.

Today, let's explore the profound truth of God's constant presence in our lives. This isn't just about feeling comforted; it's about understanding the foundation of our faith and the source of our strength. Prepare to be renewed in your thinking as we delve into scripture and discover how to know the Father as Jesus did.

The Root of Our Struggles

Many of us face moments of depression, anxiety, and worry. We feel alone, abandoned, or forgotten. But what's the root cause of these struggles? It's our failure to truly grasp that the Lord is with us.

When people experience depression, they often express feelings of isolation "No one likes me," "No one is with me," "I've lost everything." The fundamental issue isn't just negative thinking; it's not knowing deep within that God is constantly present.

The enemy always tries the same trick, portraying God as withholding something from you, just as he did in the Garden of Eden.

Satan wants you to believe you're alone, that God doesn't care. He plants doubts like those Gideon expressed: "If God is with us, why are these things happening?" But we must learn to see God through a different lens.

Seeing God Through Jesus

There are two perspectives from which we can view God, through Adam or through Jesus. When we look at God through Jesus, we see Him as He truly is: loving, present, and good.

In Numbers 14, Joshua and Caleb stood against the doubting Israelites, declaring:

"The land we explored is exceedingly good. If the Lord is pleased with us, He will lead us into that land.. Only do not rebel against the Lord and do not be afraid of the people of the land.. the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them." - Numbers 14:7-9

Despite witnessing God's goodness and provision, the Israelites refused to believe. Their minds remained in Egypt even though their bodies had been delivered. This same struggle exists for many believers today we've been saved, but our thinking hasn't been fully transformed.

The land that we saw is very good.

Just as God declared His creation "good" in Genesis, His promises remain good today. Just because we can't see something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. If it's in God's Word, we can believe it regardless of others' experiences.

The Father's Love Revealed

Jesus gives us profound insight into His relationship with the Father:

"For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed." - John 5:20

Jesus operated in healing and miracles because He knew His Father loved Him deeply. He knew the Father was delighted with Him and always with Him. Jesus could do nothing by Himself; He did only what He saw the Father doing.

This same relationship is available to us. Through Christ's sacrifice, we can experience the same intimacy with the Father that Jesus had. This is what eternal life is truly about knowing the Father as Jesus knew Him.

Walking in Divine Relationship

When we truly understand that the Lord is with us, everything changes. Depression, anxiety, and fear lose their grip. We begin to walk in confidence, knowing we're never alone.

The remedy for our struggles is simple yet profound: repentance changing the way we think. We must begin to acknowledge that the Lord is always with us. He won't leave us or forsake us. He's present in every moment, every circumstance.

Father God loves us, never leaves us, never forsakes us, and sent His Son to die on the cross so we can have the same relationship with Him that Jesus had.

Our prayer should shift from merely asking for things to seeking deeper knowledge of the Father.

"I want to know Father just like how Jesus knew His Father"

should become our heartfelt desire.

Conclusion

As we grow in knowing the Father as Jesus did, signs and wonders will follow. Miracles will happen. Deliverance will occur wherever we go. We are like Jesus in this world, but our minds need renewal.

Let's eagerly learn how Jesus knew His Father. Let's meditate on this truth and cultivate a deep desire to know God intimately. As we do, we'll experience the transformative power of His presence and love in every area of our lives.

Reflect on This

How might your life change if you truly believed, at every moment, that God is with you and will never leave you?

What steps can you take today to begin knowing the Father more intimately, as Jesus did?

Prayer

Father, I thank You for Your constant presence in my life. I declare that You are always with me, guiding me, loving me, and showing me Your ways. I am never alone because You dwell within me. I receive the same relationship with You that Jesus had full of intimacy, trust, and power. I am renewing my mind to see You as Jesus saw You. Your love surrounds me, Your wisdom guides me, and Your power works through me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
