Child reading Bible
God teaches us to profit and leads us in the way we should go, turning our losses into gain.

Today, let's explore the profound truth that God is our eternal shepherd, guiding us through every season of life. When we truly understand His faithful nature, we can release anxiety, doubt, and fear, embracing instead the confidence that comes from knowing we are never alone. Let's discover how recognizing God's constant presence transforms our perspective on life's challenges.

The Revelation of God's Faithfulness

Like Jacob in Genesis, many of us spend years wrestling with anxiety and uncertainty. We face situations that seem hopeless, convinced that everything is working against us. Jacob spent a decade in depression, believing his beloved son Joseph was dead and that his life was falling apart.

Yet the beautiful revelation Jacob eventually received is available to us today: God had been working behind the scenes all along, orchestrating events not against him, but for him.

"He blessed Joseph and said, 'The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life long to this day...'" - Genesis 48:15

Jacob finally understood that God had been his Good Shepherd from day one. This is the revelation we are called to walk in, knowing that God cares for us, protects our families, and keeps everything under His control.

The God Who Redeems

As Jacob continued his blessing, he revealed another profound truth about God:

"The Angel [that is, the LORD Himself] who has redeemed me [continually] from all evil, Bless the boys;." - Genesis 48:16 (AMP)

This wasn't referring to an ordinary angel but to the Lord Himself, the Redeemer.

This Redeemer continually rescues us from every evil, not just occasionally or from select troubles, but consistently from all evil. Just as a good shepherd continuously watches over and rescues his sheep, our Redeemer is constantly working on our behalf.

From Worst to Best

Our Redeemer doesn't just save us from trouble, He transforms our circumstances completely.

"Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go." - Isaiah 48:17

God introduces Himself as our Redeemer who teaches us to profit, not to lose. He can turn our losses into profit. If you're wondering how to prosper, advance to the next level, or find success, remember that He teaches you to profit.

You can no longer say, "Whatever I touch always fails." As a believer, you have a Redeemer who will teach you to walk in healing, success, and prosperity. He leads you in the way you should go.

Redemption Is Now

You have a Redeemer who will teach you to profit in every area of life. He will teach you to walk in healing, to experience good success, and to live prosperously. He guides you along the path you should follow, redeeming you from all evils, yes, all evils without exception.

Some may wonder, "But my situation is truly desperate. I've been diagnosed with late-stage cancer or a terminal illness." No, He is your Redeemer who can lift you from your current circumstances. He can raise you from your darkness.

Perhaps you feel you've strayed too far from God, done too many things against Him, or are living in sin. No, God can redeem you right now. Maybe you've lost your finances through poor investments, foolish decisions, or because someone cheated you. If you believe the Lord is your Redeemer, He can transform the worst parts of your life into the best.

From worst to best, He can change the table.

I can see it now, the table is turning for those who believe. You're leveling up. Your problems won't continue forever because the Redeemer is working now. Faith isn't for the future—faith is for now. The Scripture declares that faith is now. Now is the time; the time is right.

Whatever you've lost, God will transform and make profitable. The redemption is happening. In your mind and imagination, you must firmly establish this truth: you have a God who is a Good Shepherd, a God who redeems and makes all things profitable for you.

He will redeem you from every evil. Even losses from twenty years ago—your youth, opportunities, or mistakes, yes, you may have made errors, but now you have encountered the Redeemer who can restore everything and anything in Jesus' name.

Conclusion

In your mind and imagination, firmly establish this truth: you have a God who is a Good Shepherd, a faithful Redeemer who makes all things work together for your good. He stands in the gap, turning minuses into pluses. He is the Lord of multiplication and restoration.

You have come under the care of the Redeemer, the Good Shepherd, the faithful Friend who is for you and will act on your behalf. And the time is now.

Reflect on This

  1. In what areas of your life do you need to release anxiety and trust God as your Good Shepherd who has been with you from day one?

  2. What losses or mistakes from your past do you need to surrender to God, believing He can redeem them and turn them into profit?

Prayer

I declare that You are my eternal Shepherd and Redeemer. You have been guiding me from day one, even when I couldn't see it. I release all anxiety, doubt, and fear about my circumstances, knowing You are working behind the scenes for my good. You are turning my losses into profit and my worst situations into my greatest testimonies. I am never alone, never abandoned, and never without hope because You are with me now and forever. Amen.
