When Dreams Seem Dead
Have you ever believed something for so long that your heart became numb to the possibility of anything different? Jacob's story in Genesis 45 illustrates this perfectly. For years, he believed his beloved son Joseph was dead. This false belief shaped his reality and hardened his heart.
They told him, "Joseph is still alive! In fact, he is ruler of all Egypt." Jacob was stunned; he did not believe them. - Genesis 45:26
Like Jacob, we sometimes believe lies about our circumstances. Perhaps you've been told your healing won't come, your relationship can't be restored, or your dream is impossible. The enemy is a deceiver who specializes in presenting false evidence that appears real.
But here's the truth that can set you free: what God has promised is still alive.
The Truth That Liberates
The enemy has only one strategy, deception. He wants you to believe your dreams are dead, your prayers are ineffective, and your situation is hopeless. But his lies crumble in the presence of truth.
What you don't know kills you. People perish because of lack of knowledge, not because of Satan or other things.
The truth is:
God loves you
God is with you
God is for you
You are united with the Triune God
You have the power and anointing of God
You are already healed and blessed
You are more than a conqueror
When we renew our minds with God's promises, the numbness in our hearts begins to thaw. The fear that has paralyzed us starts to flee as the perfect love of God casts it out.
Your Dream Is Not Just Alive, It's Thriving
Not only was Joseph alive, but he was ruling over Egypt! This reveals an important principle: when God fulfills His promises, He does so abundantly. Your dream isn't just surviving, it's positioned for extraordinary manifestation.
When your dreams come true, they won't just be ordinary, they'll be extraordinary.
Your healing won't be partial but complete. Your restoration won't be minimal but abundant. Your breakthrough won't be temporary but lasting. This is the nature of our God, He doesn't just meet needs; He exceeds expectations.
The Greater Joseph
If Joseph's life could save Egypt and the surrounding nations during a famine, how much more can Jesus, our living Savior, do in our lives?

Jesus is alive! He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. And because He lives, your dreams live too. Your vision isn't dead because the vision-giver is alive. Your healing isn't impossible because the healer is alive. Your restoration isn't hopeless because the restorer is alive.
